Get set for some of musical theatre’s finest song sensations to soar from the stage at Pershore’s Number 8 from Monday 13th to Saturday 18th June. That’s when resident amateur theatre company Pershore Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS), under the direction of its founder Judy Megarry, go “Mad about Musicals.”

This whistle stop tour from the heart of West End theatreland to the glitz of Broadway, celebrates the finest songs from musical greats – past and present.

Selections will be performed with dazzling dress and dance, accompanied by an excellent live band under the baton of Andrew Hemming.

From Chicago to Les Misérables and Anything Goes to 42nd Street, “Mad about Musicals” provides a spectacular line up of hits from long-running West End and Broadway favourites, and latest blockbusters like Six, Waitress and Dear Evan Hansen.
