Trader backed car parking discount launches

Wychavon in partnership with Droitwich High St. traders have launched a new parking perk to encourage people to the High Street.

Customers spending just £10 in a participating shop will get £1 towards their car parking. All customers have to do is show the refund section of their parking voucher to claim and Wychavon will reimburse the traders.

Cllr. Richard Morris, portfolio holder for economic growth and housing for Wychavon said“This has been a challenging time for the traders on Droitwich High Street, but we have done a number of things to support them during the improvement works.

This is a new one and we’re hoping it will encourage people to visit the fantastic array of shops we have on the High Street. I urge people to shop locally and support our high street wherever they can.”

The offer applies to the Droitwich High Street or Ricketts Lane Car Park and is open now until Christmas Eve 2017.
