Splashing time in business challenge for hospice
Worcestershire businesses are being encouraged to take on a fun water and land-based team-building challenge to raise funds for a local hospice.
St Richard’s Hospice, based at Wildwood Drive, Worcester, is urging teams to show their competitive spirit at the corporate activity day on Friday, 11th October at Croft Farm Water Park, Bredons Hardwick near Tewkesbury.
Participants will take part in a range of activities with Sail and Paddle, including climbing, archery and inflatable challenges as well as water sports such as paddle-boarding, kayaking, raft races and dragon pedal boat races.
St Richard’s Corporate Fundraiser, Ria Simons explained, “The day will be a fantastic way to motivate and challenge staff, learn new skills and have fun working together in teams. We hope they will also feel a great sense of satisfaction from raising much needed funds to help St Richard’s continue to care for patients and families when they need us most.”
There is an event administration fee of £45 per person plus teams must pledge to raise £500 or more for St Richard’s. The fee includes lunch of a pig roast with a vegetarian option, provided by Pig on the Hill catering.
